You do not need to create an account or provide your name, email address, phone number or location to use the App.

Google Firebase

The App uses Google Firebase Firestore to securely deliver devotional content, articles and other app resources.

When the App connects to Firebase, Google may process limited technical information required to provide its services, in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

Notifications

Thought Interrupt uses local notifications to deliver Scripture-based encouragement according to the schedule you configure within the App.

When you first use the App, iOS will ask whether you would like to allow notifications. If you choose not to grant permission, no notifications will be delivered.

If notification permission is granted, your selected notification schedule and preferences are stored locally on your device and are used only to deliver Thought Interrupts at the times you choose.

Local Storage

The App stores certain information locally on your device, including:

• your selected mindset journey

• notification schedule and preferences

• reading progress

• other app preferences

This information remains on your device and is not transmitted to us.

Video Content

Some content within the App includes embedded YouTube videos.

When you choose to watch a video, your device connects to YouTube and Google's privacy practices apply. The App also provides the option to open videos directly in the YouTube app.

Images

Some content includes images hosted by Unsplash.

When these images are displayed, your device connects directly to Unsplash to retrieve them. Unsplash may process limited technical information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

How We Use Information

The limited information processed by the App is used solely to:

• Deliver devotional content and Scripture-based resources.

• Provide optional notifications that you choose to receive.
